Living your (best) life

Are you living your (best) life or are you living simply living a life? In this middle phase of life, it’s a good question to ask ourselves. Often in this season, we realize that life is finite — and we begin to question if we’re having the impact we wish to have. Unfortunately what many…

Living with discipline and intention

A final word: Control what you can control series I’m learning that living with discipline and intention is the way to living out your purpose in life. Perhaps you, like me, have lived too long thinking you needed to “find you purpose.” This just leads us to feeling like we are missing out on the…

On living well and saying goodbye

Fall colors are definitely popping out! Enjoyed a nice walk along the coastal trail from Point Woronzof today. The Panama Canal is a major engineering feat and a must-see for engineers — and anyone else interested in transportation, shipping and seeing the world! Traveling through the locks took us 12 hours — far less than going all the way around South America! 🛳️🚢⛴️ Oh, 2024, how wild you’ve been! I have to jump way back to January to share some of my favorite grandma moments — and the arrival of Kayleigh Jane Henschen, joining big brother Jay Wolf. So much fun being with the family in Korea to share these special days. 🥰 Goodbyes are hard, little brother. I wanted to give you one last hug but God didn’t want you to suffer and I agree, though my heart hurts. You knew you were loved so very much! Fly on in peace! We’ll see you in paradise! Say hi to dad and all who’ve gone before. I love you! ❤️‍🩹 Merry Christmas and best wishes for a very happy new year! We’re grateful for all of our friends and family near and far! 🎄 Day 19: Sahagun to El Burgo Ranero, 12 miles. It was a strange day from the start. By breakfast, it was pouring rain, not expected to let up until 11am or noon. Many set out in the rain, but we opted to hunker down in our room and get a later start.
