I’m finding my way around designing this site and ready to practice! I think it’s going to take me a bit to truly understand what I am doing and find a rhythm. The painting above is of Diamond Head, the sixth in a mini series of paintings that I have created over time on visits to Hawaii. Charise, the artist who teaches the class recognizes me now and we catch up each time I come.

With so many of my endeavors, I find that I must come again and again to the same or similar lessons. Each time I work through the process, I learn a little more, perfect my task and have a better product to share. I hope that as I write more, I’ll find it easier and my work will be better as well!

This is just a silly little sample so I can see what it is going to look like on the screen!
